*Steve was Chief Executive at the local charity, Age UK Sheffield, from 2015 to 2023. In this role he restructured the charity, won new grant and contract funding, opened its first retail shops, and secured a £631,200 Heritage Lottery grant to deliver the £1 million restoration of two historic buildings.

Previously he spent eight years as a senior manager South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, initially as Head of Corporate Communications, and latterly as Head of Strategy and Engagement. Steve was also an award-winning Communications Manager at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club between 2000 and 2007.
